What it says on the tin! Come on in and say hi; we're a friendly lot, and I promise we don't bite.

(Except the Lalfells. The Lalafells absolutely bite.)

I'll start it I guess…

I'm Momoko Moko. You can call me Momoko, Momo, Moko, Mom or my real name Sara.

I've been playing since beta and have really had a lot of fun crafting and gathering. My favorite thing is crafting and making money (but I'm not that good at it). Beside crafting, I play Bard and Dragoon almost equally.

Before FFXIV, I played a lot of Aion and Ragnarok Online. My favorite color is purple and I like reading, hiking and eating good food. I live in sunny San Diego.

I hope to get to know you all a lot more!

I'll go next!

Hey! Xha’to Townsend here! (My RL first name is Topher. :D )
Oh, and this is me:

I live in the Tampa, FL area. I turned 30 this past year (ugh), and by day I’m an investment banker. Boring, I know xD. I love all things Final Fantasy, and even played FFXI for quite a while, but didn’t get into the 1.0 iteration of FFXIV… partly because I read far too many bad reviews and mostly because I was far too wrapped up in World of Warcraft at the time. I was running my own end-game raiding guild and spent most of my waking hours there outside of work.

I’ve just reached 50 recently on my main character’s first job, dragoon. I’m thoroughly enjoying the game and meeting lots of great people along the way. I came upon an invite to Espers by chance. I was a low-level nooblet looking for direction. I remembered the glory days of my linkshell groups in FFXI. I wanted to experience that camaraderie again in a whole new adventure. I made a few posts in shout before going to the FFXIV site to browse the Free Companies on the server. Honestly, seeing that there would be a shortened version of the FC name after my shown name in game, I wanted something that I wouldn’t hate seeing there, lol. [Esper] sounded like an AMAZING choice! I looked at the officers/specialists in the legion and started searching to see who all was online. Then… I whispered Nya. Best decision ever! He was absolutely amazing! He told me he was pretty much the who’s who around Espers United and sent me an invite post-haste! I’ve never regretted that chance meeting. :)

You guys are all amazing. I couldn’t have joined a better FC. I’ll end this with a picture of the group that helped me finish my Main Scenario story line. Enjoy. :)

Well okay, here's me.

I'm 30-something, I live in Vancouver with my wife, my neurotic dog and my asshole cat. Uh… I work as a server administrator and developer for a mobile gaming company. I enjoy travelling to new and exciting places and eating new and exciting foods, and in May we're going to Iceland for a vacation, because Iceland.

And for kicks, here's a picture of me in my most dressed-up I've ever been, because why not.

Hi i'm a time traveler. I have learned how to travel through time at the speed of normal time using writing to convey thoughts I had in your past and share them with you in your present. Its an exciting time to be a time traveler, as is usually the case. I'm currently time travelling in Denver Colorado, I'm 28 years old and I enjoy breakfast cereals but by the time this message reaches you that may have changed. My favorite type of thought is joy, which is not likely to have changed by the time you read this. I'm currently drinking a Half and Half sweet tea with pink lemonade and eating the candy orange slices that cost next to nothing. Sadly this will very likely not be the case once you read this message because of complex issues regarding time that might be hard for you to understand. I used to have a real name but I couldn't wrap my head around what made names real or not. When I was born I was named Charles but no one ever called me that for years of time travel and instead they called me Charlie, then when I time traveled into high school my name changed to Chuck and then my name became Charles again. Most recently I have been running into an interesting problem with my name because of my intermittent contact with people which has resulted in mass confusion among other time travelers who cant seem to figure out which name I ought be called by currently and so different people from different times tend to use whichever time relevant name they had originally associated with me. This has lead me to believe that my name is completely made up but luckily that hasn't given me an identity crisis at this current point in your past. Instead I decided to tell you all my name was Star Sibyl and its been an interesting experiment because it seems to be no less real than my other made up names despite the fact that it seems like its more made up than the other made up names people use to reference me. The important thing to remember while time traveling is memories. They seem to travel through time much better than other things like ages and names and candy orange slices that cost next to nothing. Although breakfast cereal enjoyment and the emotion joy itself seem to travel through time fairly well. I'm beginning to think its the joy that travels through time so well and not so much the specific type of joy involving breakfast cereal…. I think maybe i'll travel to your future and tell you what i find out about that.

Thanks for making it weird, Star.

I'm Ada (or Sophie, but you know), and this is babby's first MMO.

Aware of my inexperience, I naturally picked the class that looked the easiest during character creation - "Warrior? Hitting things indiscriminately with an axe? Sounds awesome! What's a tank?" - and have continued to make solid and well-thought-out decisions ever since.

If you are wondering about the accent, it's because I'm Irish (original flavour, not hyphenated-American flavour). If you're wondering why I sound super crabby on Mumble, it's probably because I've gotten up at 3am to raid. If you're wondering why I get up at 3am to raid, see above re: solid and well-thought-out decisions.
