All Raid advertisements/announcements should include the following terms for the sake of clarity when building a group. All members are expected to 1) honor the requirements when accepting and 2) self-correct when unable to follow through.
Carry - A member, or members, are going to be carried through content. Requesting or offering should be explicit, helpers (aka non-carries) should be able to complete the content with a 90% success rate and be prepared for a carry. These types of runs are by request or offer and should[1] require payment of some kind.
[1] Negotiable based on participants but established up front. “Payment” can include having FC members start practice or other groups. This “payment” should be considered owed to the FC for the sake of disciplinary action. An officer should be made aware of the agreement in advance in order address any disputes. ‘ Practice - Members are expecting to help members get over hurdles or become more confident in a fight, this is different from a progression group.
Progression - Unlike practice, members are expected to be introducing new content or different strategies for known content. Members are expected to continue progressing for the duration of the time.
Kill - Members are expected to be able to complete the content with a 90% success rate. This group is planning to clear content once with minor hiccups. In the event a member is experiencing issues due to lag, rest, hunger or any other reason, they should remove themselves within a reasonable amount of tries. Party leaders can be expected to remove someone if they don’t do it themselves.
Farm - Members are expected to be able to complete the content with a 90% success rate. This group is planning on repeating the content and a minimum number of runs should be agreed upon. In the event a member is experiencing issues due to lag, rest, hunger or any other reason, they should remove themselves within a reasonable amount of tries. Party leaders can be expected to remove someone if they don’t do it themselves.
